Iro S/S 2013

It might not be that groundbreaking or revelatory, but boy is it cool.

Totally wearable with just enough going on in each look to keep you interested, the carefully considered, seemingly thrown-together styling of Iro's S/S 2013 look book is pretty close to perfect. It's also sneakily clever in that you can't really imagine having one piece from a look without all the others. Which could be trouble.

January Favorites

Busy work trips away, freezing temperatures and a cancelled flight thrown in for good measure have meant any free time I've had this January has mainly been spent hibernating with 30 Rock and gluttonous amounts of food on tap.

So I thought I'd do a quick round-up of some current favorites keeping me company as I ease myself into 2013.

My beautiful silver stacking rings by Natalie Marie jewellery haven't left my fingers since I opened them up at Christmas.  Seen here are the organic silver bands and the pom pom ring as well as some bespoke, plain silver bands. Find them and rest of the super talented Australian designer's collection here.

The best marl T-shirt I've found to date from one of my favorite new brand discoveries, Olive Clothing.

Following the oxblood theme, Topshop's 'Beguiled' lipstick has been my January beauty experiment.

Tackling my translucent Winter skin with some old favorites; Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and Radiance Plus Golden Glow Cream Gel.

I've started a five year long diary which I'm determined to keep up. I kind of love the idea of being reminded of all those small, seemingly insignificant events and memories that you might otherwise forget.

Getting snap happy with my Christmas and birthday prizes; my Lomo and the Fujifilm X100. Seen here sitting atop a Zara tiger print sale find.

Monochrome stripes a la Zara. Find the shirt here and the TRF sweatshirt here.

And so it begins

I don't know about you, but I've yet to get reach out-and-about mode this year and am still very much opting for hibernating above all else. But, what with London Collections kicking off today which I'll be in and out of the office for over the next 3 days, I felt today was as good a day as any to do my first outfit post of the year.

The coat was a pre-Christmas purchase and has become something of a permanent fixture ever since. I'd been hunting for a leopard print coat for a while and after an unsuccessful ebay purchase I stumbled upon this one in Mango. It's pretty good in terms of print and texture and manages to avoid the dreaded synthetic teddy bear look so many faux fur coats run of. Plus, it's now in the sale for £59.99.
Wearing: Mango leopard print coat, HnM faux leather trousers, Zara boots, Cos jumper, HnM leather gilet worn under the coat and Celine bag.

Back in Goa for BLAKE LDN

Well, back in spirit at least.  No, sadly I'm in London, but I thought I'd share by favourite shot from the campaign I worked on for British knitwear label Blake LDN while in Goa back in October. Taken outside the Priest's House at Elsewhere in North Goa (our abode for the final 4 days of our dreamy trip), this shot instantly transports me back to those lazy days spent beneath the palms.  I think that combination of orange and duck egg blue will always remind me of our time in India now.

Those of you that follow me on Instagram and Twitter will have had a preview of this shot yesterday. If you're not a follower already, you can find me at @lucywilliams02 on Instagram and at @Fashion_Me_Now on twitter.

Pierre Balmain S/S 2013

Two of my favourites, Anna Selezneva and Pierre Balmain join forces for S/S 2013.

Brief but very cool poolside campaign video below.
