Lolita in the Sun
With sun streaming through the office windows I felt this editorial by Taryn Davidson was pretty appropriate....So gorgeous and sunny.

Erin's Closet Unveiled...
Inside Erin's wardrobe...I just want to spend ages staring at these pcis trying to work out each and every item. It's when you see her closet as a whole that you Erin is a total Bohemian and has such a traveller, gypsy feel to every aspect of her wardrobe. A true Narnia for any fan of Erin's nonchalant style-what would I give to go through the back of my wardrobe and find myself in Erin's.

Chloe in Shorts and Chloe Shorts
Probably the catchiest title ever no? Oohing and ahhing over all the minimal Chloe pieces descending on net-A-Porter recently, and am going to invest in the above Mango shorts as a cheap chic alternative.

A Life Less Ordinary:Couture for the Next Generations
I was totally transfixed by this editorial in U.K Vogue's May' issue. Dorothea gives the whole thing an almost eery innocence-made me thing of a girl in small town America waiting for her prom date...actually it's so forlorn, I feel she's getting stood up (but who'd care if you wearing that Elie saab to your prom). There's something almost sinister about the shots in the bathroom and the knives in the backdrop of the kitchen shot which makes it even more beguiling-one of the most modern takes on couture I've seen in a while. It's weird, not many seem to like this editorial so I guess I'm in the minority but I thought I'd post anyway as i think it's really different from anything I've posted before.
Hope you'll agree and find a kind of spooky wonder in it like me!

New Elizabeth & James Collection
New Elizabeth and James collection by mary Kate and Ashley Olsen-loving the belts knotted over jackets-seems to have been everywhere on jak and jil/stockholm street style recently and it's one of those things that's so simple yet so effective.

Emmanuelle Alt
Simple, Chic and edgy all in one, I'm in love with Emmanuelle Alt of French Vogue's style. Extreme trends like the infamous Balmain shoulders look effortless and timeless on Emmanuelle and feel like they'd work forever, regardless of the trends. She proves how the simplest of pieces can look amazing with the right attitude; leather pants plus high heeled pumps and a blazer have never looked so cool-just the right amount of grown up grunge and classic Left-bank chic.
