Fashion Trends

Firstly, these definitely aren't new kids on the blogging circuit, in fact they're a million times more experienced and more followed than I am, they're just new discoveries for me hence the title.

With LFW fast approaching, it's always nice to a few new outfit bloggers to ogle for inspiration and I can't get enough of these two in particular-they're much softer, simpler and prettier in their style to some of the blogs I follow and I'm loving the contrast.

So yet again, despite my best efforts, blogging has been sparse.  The endless prepping, shotos and long journeys home (tube strikes) have resulted in my evenings being spent in front of 24/inbetweeners/C4 Documentaries/Gossip Girl etc, rather than flexing my fingers on my laptop.

Fashion week is almost upon us and I'm getting pretty excited (although the bags under my eyes spell trouble ahead for sure).

So with work drinks tonight to celebrate our latest issue and mark the beginning of fashion week, it's all go go go...

Had a mad, ill-advised online spree yesterday and today (asos and topshop owe me for my custom if you ask me) in preparation.  Bought some amazing leopard print cropped trousers, a unique cream bobble cable knit jumper and burgundy trilby courtesy of topshop which I'm jumping round in my seat waiting for. Anyone would think I was going into battle-the reality is definitely not going to nearly as dramatic or cool, but fun nonetheless.

I love the way I've called this 'look of the day' as in it's my regular feature, but this is definitely my favourite thing I've seen all day.

It's official, Acne can do no wrong.  Unlike some resort collections (all stripy blazers, pleated trousers and one pieces), Acne manage to pull off the tricky transeasonal collection with ease...Sleeveless and long-line blazers teamed with the tightest of trousers or the shortest of shorts are at the basis of Acne's covetable solution to gliding seamlessly from winter to summer.   

And the huge floppy leather hats are just ace.

What a Babe.

Heading to the seaside this weekend so I have that Friday feeling a day early...

Will it look like this?  Me thinks not but I can dream.  Whatever the weather, I can't wait to get up there and play like old times...

For all you brits who have been hankering after endless pics of the forever 21 cross ring on blogs for, oooh, ages now, check out this Urban Outfitters number soon to be hitting stores...It's making typing up credits from yesterdays shoot so much more fun.  

Oh and the tiny little thorn ring is Agent P-great if not a little perilous!

P.S Forever 21 openign first UK store in B'ham's bullring soon...not sure of exact dates but exciting news all the same.

I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted....things have been crazy.  I barely find enough time to sleep/think at the mo so blogging has fallen slightly from wayside.  But, after getting a lovely e-mail from the girls from gorgeous cashmere co Madeline Thompson I have had a new surge of energy to get this ball rolling again (hold me to that if there's another month gap!).

Plus, as soon as I saw E.W's awesome campaign for her collection for RVCA I had to put it up.  

She is my forever icon...
